Halling Primary School PTA
WHAT WE DO
We work alongside Halling Primary School staff and offer help at school events as well as hosting fundraising activities to raise money to help enrich our children's education. Although primarily we fundraise, our PTA is about much more than simply fundraising. The PTA exists to provide closer links between home and school and it is an excellent way to bring staff and parents together socially in support of the school, working towards a common goal. We raise money in other ways too. Donations from parents are extremely important. You can donate time, money, items for sale, raffle prizes or offers of services and skills.
WHO CAN JOIN?
All parents are automatically members of the PTA when
your child joins the school, it is just up to you if you decide
to become an active member. If anyone is interested in
being more active please let us know. The PTA thrives on
helpers. The more you volunteer, the more the children will
benefit.
WHY SHOULD I JOIN?
The children of parents in the PTA love getting to help out behind the scene and it is good fun to be involved. The events we run are not just about fundraising but are chosen because of the enjoyment and value they provide to pupils, their families and friends.
HOW MUCH DO WE RAISE?
Halling Primary school PTA runs a full programme of events to raise money for Halling Primary School. We update parents termly, via our newsletter which details how much we have raised and where the funds have been spent.
Are there any costs?? All PTA members are volunteers – they give as much or little time as they can. If you can help in any way, no matter how small it will be greatly appreciated. We give as much time as we can even if it's just a few hours. If you can help in any way, no matter how small, or would like to find out more, please come along to a meeting, call us via the school office or through our facebook page (Halling Primary School PTA).
