"Have Your Say!" Meetings
At Halling Primary School, parent and carer voice really matters to us!
We hold bi-termly, “Have Your Say!” parent and carer meetings. We have had some excellent ideas at our forums which we have taken onboard and acted upon already. Our hope is that through these regular meetings we will be able to do even more together.
The purpose of our meetings is to encourage open discussion and provide a direct line of communication between parents, carers and the school.
Our meetings offer an opportunity for parents and carers to:
- Ask questions;
- Share views about issues that affect the children’s experience at school;
- Become more knowledgeable about the workings of the school and school policy;
- Help to make decisions that will benefit the whole school community; and
- Have a cuppa and a biscuit!
An agenda is agreed in advance with input from parents, carers and staff. Therefore, if you would like an item raised at a meeting then please email: haveYourSay@Halling.Medway.Sch.Uk beforehand. Please do send in requests, even if you are unable to attend a meeting.
We look forward to seeing you there!
Please note, the meetings are not intended to address any issues related to individual pupils: if you have any concerns about your child, please make an appointment through the school office.
