Welcome to India Class!

Your class teacher this year will be Miss Bahia and your teaching assistant will be Mrs Gillham.

We are both extremely excited to be working with you this year. We have many fantastic learning opportunities for the year ahead, which we are sure that you will thoroughly enjoy.

Things will continue to be slightly different to begin with, but we will work together to ensure that they are as smooth as can be.

One of the changes will be our staggered start and drop off times. You will be dropped off at 8:35am at the main gate. Either myself or Miss Martin will be waiting for you.

Throughout the day, you will be washing your hands regularly to help us keep safe.

If you came to the transition day, you will remember our tables are in rows instead of groups, which is another strategy to help keep us safe.

During P.E. days, you will be required to attend school in your P.E. kit, so you do not have to get changed. For our class, that will be every Friday. Remember, you must wear black jogging bottoms/ leggings, black trainers and a white t-shirt.

We will have break and lunch in our year group bubbles to ensure that we are not mixing in large groups. Our break time will be 10:30am – 10:45am and our lunchtime will be 12pm – 1pm.

For home time, you will be collected from the main gate at 3:05pm.

Starting a new year is always an anxious time and we understand that things are slightly different this year. However, if ever you feel worried or need to talk to someone, we are ALWAYS here to listen and try to make you feel better! If you do not feel comfortable talking, you can always make use of our class worry monster.

We are looking forward to an exciting year together!
